How is life coaching different to counselling?
The coaching process focuses on where you are now & helps you to move forward to where you want to be in life. In coaching sessions, we draw on your inner resources, but we do not get stuck in the past. Counselling explores the past in more depth. As a coach, I expect to work with a client for a few sessions, short term, monthly usually, then their goal is achieved. A counsellor usually sees clients weekly and works longer term.

What is NLP & how might it be used during a life coaching session?
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) uses language & thought to improve how we function. It can be a very powerful (and sometimes fun), tool to use in coaching sessions. For example, positive visualisation techniques & positive language can be used to add value to your session, helping you to overcome personal obstacles & moving you toward success.

What is D.I.S.C Profiling
This is a type of personality profiling and is thought to be the most accurate available. I profile all coaching clients because it adds immense value by giving an instant insight into personality traits that hinder personal success. I can coach you more effectively when I know your personality profile, which means that you can get results faster.
